Constellations Velvet Touch 4mm Yoga Mat

I got this about a month ago as an incentive to set time aside for yoga with my lovely mat. It is absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful design. Lovely for flexibility practice as the soft finish does allow more fluidity of movement. I also have an ultimate grip mat now which provides more stability in practice. Customer services could not have been more lovely and helpful in helping me choose the correct mats for my practice style.

This a beautiful mat and brings me joy everytime I unroll it. I like how thick, soft and cushioned it is. However after using it for the last 5 months I have to conclude that this mat does not provide enough grip for poses such as downward dog, planks etc. And for my daily practice I will have to use a different mat which is disappointing. Perhaps it might provide good grip during hot yoga.

Feels so soft but not slippy. Great cushioning too!

only problem I have is the navy colour coming off on my nail polish.any tips on how to stop it?can I clean it with something?

Love the print and colours, nice length and quality is really good. I thought it would be a bit thicker but overall very happy with it!

Because of the reviews and the price I had high expectations but when it arrived I was disappointed. The mat grips well to the ground but the actual mat is too soft for a good grip, so when I do yoga I’m not able to do some things I want to.

The mat is beautiful. It does hurt my palms a little as I'm not fully used to the material and not an advance yogi, but it's a great size and feel. I do find I slip a little if my feet are cool and dry, but through a workout, they don't slip anymore. It's a lovely mat. Well worth the month and so beautiful to practise on.

The ombré colours of the mat are so striking and the quality is excellent. So far no slipping and no discomfort when my weight is in my knees or wrists. Have been highly recommending to friends - support Irish businesses, support businesses who support sustainability.

It is absolutely gorgeous looking. I leave it out on the floor because I love it so much but very disappointed with the grip. It feels lovely to touch but I find it incredibly impractical- much more slippy than any mat I have ever come across. I'm afraid of causing an injury as I cannot hold a downward dog properly without slipping. Have to alter my practise when I am using it which is very frustrating.

My new star! The mat is absolutely wonderful, especially when you do hot yoga. I have tested it now for over two weeks daily. It needs the sweat to get the grip (otherwise bit slippery). The material feels very nice and I did not get an allergy reaction (as to other mats). Yes, it is heavy but that just makes sure it stays on the floor. The only thing that could be improved is the length - 178cm is a bit short for some people :) Thank you!

The mat is lovely..long, stable and comfortable. The only thing is, it's not the hummingbird mat which I ordered. The box sticker says hummingbird but it was a plain pattern mat in the box. Lovely quality mat though.

After much consideration on design to choose, delighted with it...its even more lovely on my floor as on the website! Beautifully soft and grip seems great. Will spend many a happy hour on this mat. Thanks!

I may not be the best at yoga in the class, but I definitely have the best mat. Not only is it beautiful but it is strong and thick so very comfortable and has great grip. As my Mammy says buy cheap buy often, buy well buy once and this mat really is a mat for life and well worth the investment. 100% would recommend :)

These mats are so beautiful visually and make a wonderful practice space. The mat is heavy compared to my previous foam one however as I practice at home and don’t carry it around much I don’t mind this.

I’m in love with my yoga matt.
